Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Community Health Services Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Community Nursing Team, ensuring the effective delivery of our services.

Main Duties:

  1. Provide administrative support to the team, including IT work, note/file preparation, and inputting patient data.
  2. Make appointments and liaise with the District Nursing Team members as appropriate.
  3. Respond to enquiries from service users, NHS services, and outside agencies, referring to other team members when necessary.
  4. Administer the General Domiciliary Care process for patients, completing documentation and liaising with care agencies.

Person Specification:

  • Essential:
    • 3 GCSEs grade C or above, including English or equivalent experience.
    • NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent qualification, or relevant proven experience.
    • Experience of computer-based information systems in an office environment.
    • Ability and experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
    • Experience of minute-taking.
  • Desirable:
    • NHS patient information systems.

Estimated Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
