About Our Team
Creative Support's community outreach team in Barrow is dedicated to supporting adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. As a Community Living Specialist, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with service users, families, and carers to promote their well-being and independence.
The role involves visiting service users in their own homes, providing emotional support, and helping them access community resources. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of person-centered care plans, working collaboratively with other teams to ensure a seamless service delivery.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits to support your personal and professional growth.
Key Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
