As a leading NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay is pioneering integrated care services. We are currently seeking a skilled Community Physiotherapist Specialist to join our Integrated Community Stroke Team (ICST) in Furness Area.

The ICST provides rotational experience between Inpatient team at Furness General Hospital and the Community covering Furness and South Lakes. This role allows you to be part of the whole patient pathway from admission to discharge and ongoing rehabilitation in the community.

We offer a 6-day service including Saturdays for the inpatient pathway and 5-day service in the community pathway. The salary for this position is approximately £34,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive rotational experience as a Staff grade in core competencies within physiotherapy, including elderly care, musculo-skeletal, neurology, orthopaedics, and cardio-respiratory care. Additionally, they should possess effective written and oral communication skills in English, understanding of legal responsibilities within the profession, and knowledge of audit tools and awareness of organisational and clinical standards in Physiotherapy.
