Join our team of dedicated professionals as a Physiotherapist Disability Assessor at Maximus.

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to conduct assessments and produce reports that help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits. This is a rewarding role that requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

In this position, you will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability affects their daily life.
  • Producing detailed reports to support benefit claims.
  • Developing your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for delivering excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid HCPC registration number.
  • At least one year of post-registration experience within or outside the NHS.
  • The right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
