**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Community Stroke Team (ICST) in the Furness Area. As a member of this team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care to patients across various settings.

The ICST is a rotational position between the Inpatient team at Furness General Hospital and the Community covering Furness and South Lakes. This allows for a comprehensive understanding of the patient pathway from admission to discharge and ongoing rehabilitation in the community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To work within the core competencies of physiotherapy, including elderly care, musculoskeletal, neurology, orthopedics, and cardio-respiratory care.
  • To provide evidence-based stroke-specific assessments and treatment plans.
  • To engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for optimal care.

**Requirements:**

  • Honours Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy approved by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy/Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Hold a driving license and have access to a car.

**Salary and Benefits:**

The salary for this role is £37,338 - £44,962 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive a range of benefits, including a supportive induction plan, stroke-specific training, and opportunities for professional development.
