Job Title: Specialty DentistMain Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist dental care services to patients in Furness and South Lakes.
  • Contribute to improving oral health among the local population through collaborative working with healthcare partners and patients.

About the Position:

This role involves delivering high-quality dental care to patients at Barrow Dental Centre, with occasional travel to other clinic locations required. The postholder will work closely with colleagues to provide care under general anaesthesia at Furness General Hospital.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • NHSE Performer List number.
  • No outstanding disciplinary proceedings.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate diploma in Special Care Dentistry.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Paediatric Dentistry.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Sedation Techniques.

Compensation Package: An attractive salary range is £75,000 - £110,000 per year, dependent on experience.
