Occupational Health Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work as an Occupational Health Specialist, providing professional support and guidance to employees on site.

About the Role:

This role involves working as an Occupational Health Nurse and will be responsible for clinical assessments, wellbeing assessments, health promotion, safety critical medicals, travel assessments, and assessing fitness to work for the appropriate job role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Professional support and guidance to employees on site
  • Clinical assessment of clients presenting minor illness and injury
  • Wellbeing assessments, health promotion, safety critical medicals, travel assessments
  • Assessing fitness to work for the appropriate job role
  • Health surveillance
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registered Nurse - valid NMC UK pin with no restrictions
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health preferable
  • At least 1 year's experience in an Occupational Health setting
  • Experience in A&E/ intensive care/ GP surgeries will also be considered
  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
