About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Communications Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution, and change management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of system or equipment design in internal communications systems, demonstrable experience of working in different engineering lifecycle phases, and a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution, and change management
  • Understand contractual and performance requirements for various systems, and support definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Produce documentation required to support design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, supporting calculations, design evidence, and justifications
  • Undertake design reviews and presentations to customers
  • Review relevant supplier documentation and ensure it is captured and recorded appropriately
  • Provide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities, including acceptance of equipment from suppliers through to system acceptance by the customer
