Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Assurance Specialist to join our Trident Integration Team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the development of complex safety cases for the Strategic Weapons System.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing activities under the DSM Key Safety Function (KSF) on behalf of the KSF Owner. They will also maintain and develop the Design Safety Statement for the SWS, reviewing identified hazards for impact and mitigation options. Additionally, they will develop Design Safety Statement Coherency Plans for SWS and SWSS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage activity under the DSM Key Safety Function (KSF) on behalf of the KSF Owner

  • Review identified hazards for impact and mitigation options
  • Develop Design Safety Statement Coherency Plans for SWS and SWSS systems
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in working on the development and/or maintenance of complex Safety Cases
  • Experience of integrating complex systems and/or systems engineering
Benefits

You'll receive a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on your experience. You'll also have access to additional benefits including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. You may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
