Barrow, Cumbria, United Kingdom Cumbria Health Full time

Cumbria Health is a leading healthcare organization that provides primary health care services, both in and out of hours, across Cumbria.

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Out of Hours team at our Barrow-In-Furness and Kendal sites. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care out of hours, ensuring our patients receive timely and effective care.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience (minimum 3 years) in a relevant field, acute or primary care setting, with evidence of autonomous practice assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated presentations. You will also possess excellent leadership skills, a graduate degree with honors, and non-medical prescribing qualification.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for working independently as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the scope of professional practice. You will function at a high level to carry out clinical decision-making, such as diagnosing and discharging patients with minimal input from a medical practitioner, remaining within the scope of professional practice.

You will also be expected to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, communicating effectively and recognizing barriers to effective communication. Your duties will include assessing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, initiating treatment, investigations, advice, and management of problems using professional autonomous decision-making processes.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range between £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes opportunities for flexible working patterns, location, and hours to ensure a great work-life balance.
