About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Pathway Coordinator at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of the Urology Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic appointments and providing exceptional administrative support to our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Urology Team, ensuring efficient management of patient journeys and adherence to referral to treatment targets and agreed timescales.
  • Respond to patient and external inquiries in a polite and professional manner, maintaining accurate records and escalating complex queries to the relevant team member.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, utilizing our patient administration system to record and track correspondence.
  • Book and reschedule appointments as required, utilizing computerized tracking systems to locate case notes and investigation results.
  • Maintain patient information on our patient information system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Create and maintain local filing systems, keeping accurate records of work completed within the team.

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English or equivalent experience.
  • Administrative experience, with basic IT literacy and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with a professional telephone manner and good interpersonal skills.
