Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children's Community Clinical Support Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinic facilitation services, including assisting the Community Neurodevelopmental Paediatric Team in delivering seamless care.
  • Support clinical decision-making by obtaining children's growth measurements and relevant observations.
  • Work independently, escalating concerns as needed and developing strong management and organisational skills.
  • Act as a patient advocate, upholding privacy, dignity, and confidentiality throughout the care process.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, proactively addressing and managing any issues that arise.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications & Experience
  1. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience working clinically with Children and Young People.
  2. GCSE Maths & English grade C or above, or level 2 numeracy skills and level 2 literacy skills.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  1. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
