Family Wellbeing Worker

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic individual to fill the role of Young Carers Engagement Worker. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of our Early Help Offer and make a real difference in the lives of young carers and their families.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to assess needs, plan services, and remove barriers to access. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships will be essential in this position.
Main Responsibilities- Respond promptly to young carer referrals, prioritising immediate needs and ensuring effective allocation.
- Maintain a caseload of young carers, focusing on reducing risk, increasing resilience, and improving outcomes.
- Support the Early Help Team Manager in pursuing opportunities for service development and improvement.
Requirements:
- Level 5 or Degree Level qualification in a relevant subject area.
- A valid full driving licence.
- Strong understanding of young carer needs and risks.
- Experience working with children, young people, and families with complex needs.
