Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Family Support Worker to join our Children and Young People Service Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Family Hubs, providing support to children, parents, and whole families to help them become stronger and improve outcomes for children.

Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of the Early Help Offer for families, adopting a whole family, strengths-based approach to reduce risk, increase resilience and improve outcomes for children.
* Ensure that services are delivered in compliance with relevant legislation, local and national policy, and guidance.
* Support and engage with individuals, parents, children, and young people with long histories of challenging and risky behaviours and who are difficult to engage or resistant to using or accepting services.
* Support the Family Hub Coordinator in pursuing opportunities for service development.

Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, relevant to the work area including: Children's Care Learning and Development/Certificate in Youth Work practice or Health and Social Care.
* Full driving licence (unless unable to drive through disability).
* An understanding of the principles that support and promote the wellbeing of children, young people, and families.
* Experience of working directly with children, young people, and families with complex needs and risk in a relevant setting.
