Join Our Team
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Children and Young People Service Team in Wakefield. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services that make a positive impact on the lives of children, parents, and whole families.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to children, parents, and whole families to help them become stronger and improve outcomes for children.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interventions that meet the needs of children, parents, and whole families.
* Ensure that services are delivered in compliance with relevant legislation, local and national policy, and guidance.

Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, relevant to the work area including: Children's Care Learning and Development/Certificate in Youth Work practice or Health and Social Care.
* Full driving licence (unless unable to drive through disability).
* An understanding of the principles that support and promote the wellbeing of children, young people, and families.
* Experience of working directly with children, young people, and families with complex needs and risk in a relevant setting.
