Abuse Support Advocate

Triumph Consultants Ltd is seeking an Abuse Support Advocate to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims and their families.
The estimated salary for this role is £19,000-£24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:- To identify and assess the risks and needs of domestic abuse victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- To complete initial assessments and record any immediate needs prior to allocation for longer specialist domestic abuse support.
- To work as part of a multi-agency team to provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse.
- Have good theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of the civil/criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse.
- Working knowledge of the risk assessment and safety planning process within the context of domestic abuse.
- Knowledge of the roles of different agencies in relation to tackling domestic abuse.
- Hold an IDVA qualification or a relevant degree.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to act with integrity and respect when interacting with clients, employees and agencies.
