Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team in providing high-quality services to children and families.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Children’s Social Work, with a strong understanding of child protection and care proceedings.

  • Assessment and intervention in child protection cases
  • Supporting vulnerable children and families through home visits and court work
  • Liaising with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning
Responsibilities

This role will involve:

  • Working closely with the Children MASH Team to provide agency social worker support
  • Managing a case load and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Hold a DipSW or equivalent qualification
  • Be registered with the HCPC
  • Have a current DBS clearance
  • Be a car driver with a valid license
