Family Resilience Worker

We are seeking a Family Resilience Worker to join our Children and Young People service team at Wakefield Council. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young carers and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to young carer referrals, assessing their immediate needs and developing effective support plans.
- Build strong relationships with young carers, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver services that meet the evolving needs of young carers and their families.
- Possess a valid driving license (unless hindered by disability) and demonstrate a commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the risks and challenges faced by young carers, informing effective support strategies.
- Proven experience working directly with children, young people, and families with complex needs in a relevant setting.
Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
