Job Title: Healthcare Coordinator

This position is responsible for working with leaders to address employee impairment concerns. The coordinator will arrange for fitness for duty screenings, prepare documentation, and assist in safe transportation of affected employees.

The Healthcare Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment at Intermountain Healthcare. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Schedule Requirements:

  1. On-call 24/7 for 7 days, followed by 7 days off.
  2. Must respond to calls within 15 minutes during on-call periods.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage initial intake calls from leaders regarding employee fitness for duty concerns.
  2. Determine the appropriate course of action and review relevant laws and policies.
  3. Arrange on-site sample collection and coordinate safe transportation of impacted employees.
  4. Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Minimum Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ongoing need for visual acuity and manual dexterity for complex tasks.

Compensation: $21.98 - $33.48 per hour
