At Connect2Kent, we are committed to delivering exceptional services to children and families in need. As a Fostering Team Social Worker with Kent County Council, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Social Worker to join our dedicated Fostering Team in Canterbury and Dover. We are seeking a professional who can manage a diverse caseload effectively, providing high-quality support to foster carers and kinship carers.

The successful candidate will have previous fostering experience and be able to deliver preparation training for prospective foster carers. They will also work closely with the Team Manager and colleagues to promote 'Kent Fostering' and provide expert advice and support to applicants.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,541 per annum (inclusive of market forces payment), depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from a generous annual leave entitlement, flexible working arrangements, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to maintain a good working knowledge of legislation, local policies, and procedures, particularly those relating to Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection. You must act consistently with these requirements to ensure high-quality service delivery.
