Social Work Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team as a Supervisor at our Papanui Site.
About the RoleThis role requires you to work with tamariki and whānau to make positive changes in our community. You will be responsible for identifying professional development needs of your team and ensuring they are supported to grow their capability and practice depth.
The ideal candidate will have previous people management and/or mentoring experience, excellent time management skills, and the ability to build and lead an effective team.
You will also need to possess a full, clean, valid driver's licence, full registration with New Zealand's Social Work Registration Board (SWRB), and a social worker qualification recognised by the SWRB.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of social workers to provide high-quality services to tamariki and whānau
- Identify and develop strategies to improve team performance and wellbeing
- Work closely with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
