About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work within the multidisciplinary community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with consultant psychiatry colleagues, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and other medical staff to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and programs.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and students, promoting the development of the next generation of mental health professionals.
