About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical team, including consultant psychiatry colleagues, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and a wider medical workforce to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
