About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at Swansea Bay University Health Board.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expert care to children and adolescents with mental health needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, and therapists, to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs

• Provide specialist consultations and assessments to patients, families, and carers

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and comprehensive patient pathways

• Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies to enhance patient care and outcomes
