About the Role

The Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team. As a Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.

Main Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health issues.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients and their families.

Requirements

Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice.
On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview.
Evidence of teaching and training of post/undergraduate clinical staff.
Experience of research in areas specific to CAMHS.
