Associate Director of Ecology and Sustainability

Lanpro, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking an experienced professional to lead the growth and management of its ecology and biodiversity business in the London area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, managing a team of ecologists and biodiversity specialists, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects to clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a natural leader and manager to join a dynamic and innovative company and contribute to the success of its ecology and biodiversity business.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Build and lead a successful ecology and biodiversity team in the London area, demonstrating effective management and the ability to influence and persuade across a range of stakeholders.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Client Management: Provide excellent client service, managing client expectations and delivering projects that meet or exceed their needs.
- Team Development: Help to ensure all members of the team are effectively developed and committed to personal CPD in pursuit of continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Experience: In excess of 10 years relevant experience in ecology and biodiversity, with a strong track record of business development and team leadership.
- Qualifications: MCIEEM/CEcol/CEnv preferred, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy.
- Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multidisciplinary design team.
