Employment Details:
This is a part-time, permanent position at St. Margaret's CE Primary School in Rottingdean, East Sussex. The salary is £33,130 per annum pro rata for 6 hours of work per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the school counselling service, running a suitable appointment system, and liaising with school staff over referrals, waiting lists, and appointments. They will also carry out initial clinical and risk assessments, establish appropriate referral pathways, and continually assess risk throughout each student's counselling.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Counselling or Psychotherapy qualification, minimum Level four and ideally Level six, and two years' post-qualifying experience in individual counselling or therapy with young people. You should also have a sound understanding of child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding issues, policies, and procedures.
