We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Young People's Counsellor to join our team at Place2Be, providing emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

About the Role
  • This is a rewarding opportunity to work with vulnerable children and young people, improving their mental health and wellbeing through one-to-one counselling and other forms of support.
  • You will be based in a school setting, working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide a comprehensive service to students.
  • We offer regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a well-recognised clinical placement to ensure your success in this role.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A minimum of 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and flexible working arrangements.
  • The opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year, recognised as continuing professional development time.
  • Sessions spent with children accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and recognised by the BACP and UKCP.
