We are seeking a highly skilled Child Counsellor Specialist to join our team at WhereToTalk. As a permanent, part-time position, you will be responsible for providing top-notch therapy services to young people aged 9-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders and associated learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counselling and experience working with special needs populations. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapists, to provide comprehensive support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate your caseload, implementing individualized treatment plans for each student.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and complete Annual Review paperwork as required.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with school staff to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Contribute to the growth of our therapy services by promoting our services and meeting personal targets.
  • Undertake training for school staff on EHCP requirements.
