About the Position

  • You will work closely with school staff to develop a supportive environment for students, ensuring their emotional and social needs are met
  • Your expertise in delivering school counselling services will enable you to provide individualised support to students who require it most
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safeguarding children and young people, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

About You

  • A relevant Counselling or Psychotherapy qualification, minimum Level four and ideally Level six, is essential
  • Two years' post-qualifying experience in individual counselling or therapy with young people, preferably within an educational setting, is highly desirable
  • A sound understanding of child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding issues, policies, and procedures is also required
