About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Young Futures. In this role, you will provide specialist therapy services to children and young people, focusing on developing their critical social and emotional skills.

This is a part-time position, approximately 3-4 days per week, with a salary of £45,000 pro-rata, plus additional benefits. As a therapist, you will be responsible for conducting 1:1 therapy sessions, attending meetings, and contributing to the care and safety planning process.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience working with children and young people, with a proven track record of making a positive impact.
  • An understanding of how past experiences and present emotions can influence behavior, and the ability to help young people communicate and interpret these emotions.
  • Safeguarding competences to identify and respond to signs of risk or harm.
