Sales and Account Manager

We are proud to play a key role in creating a safer world, and we are seeking an experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your sales and business development skills in a technical environment, driving growth and expansion of our customer base.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing business plans to drive sales growth and expansion;
- Qualifying opportunities from the inbound team / specialists;
- Targeting new business prospects and expanding existing customer relationships;
- Following up on quotations in a timely manner;
- Proactively engaging with customers using phone, email, and TEAMS;
- Identifying current and future customer service requirements;
- Managing relationships and utilizing technical support;
- Achieving activity goals by converting and penetrating accounts;
- Building and maintaining a working knowledge of Element's service offerings;
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of sales and business development experience ideally within a technical / engineering environment;
- Experience of using MS Office;
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes / contracts, marketing materials;
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills;
- Solve practical customer problems;
- Can remain calm when faced with pressure;
- Ability to interface with clients, win new work, and determine their requirements;
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 33 days annual holiday, Life Assurance, Legal & General Pension scheme, Cycle Scheme, Free Onsite Refreshments, Recommend a Friend Bonus, and Perks At Work Discount Scheme.
