Sales Account Manager

We are partnering with a respected telecoms and IT solutions client to find an experienced Sales Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media is also a key aspect of the role. You will prepare and deliver presentations on products and services, create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data, ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations and participate in exhibitions or conferences on behalf of the company. Negotiating and closing deals while handling complaints or objections is also a crucial part of the job.
Estimated salary: £26,000-£31,000 plus commission.
Requirements include a background within telesales, call centre, cold calling or new business development, excellent communication skills, tenacious and hungry to succeed, results driven. Confident making outbound calls, cold calling and seeking out new business opportunities is essential, as is the ability to develop rapport with customers quickly. Good negotiating skills and passion or interest in the IT/telecoms industry are also required. Proficient in MS Office applications and hands-on experience with CRM systems is a must.
