As a Student Welfare Specialist with Teaching Personnel, you will play a vital role in promoting the welfare, well-being, and personal development of students in our Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school located in Hornchurch, Essex.

The successful candidate will provide support and guidance to students regarding their emotional, social, and academic well-being, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment that enhances learning outcomes.

A key responsibility of this role is to develop and implement welfare programs and initiatives to foster a positive school culture. You will maintain accurate records and reports on student welfare issues, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding policies.

To excel in this position, you should have a degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A strong understanding of child development, safeguarding practices, and mental health issues is essential.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
