**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Academic and Welfare Specialist to join our team at a well-known school in Islington.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting students' health, wellbeing, and academic success.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for students.
  • Promote good health guidance, wellbeing advice, and other supportive strategies to students as needed.
  • Facilitate medical provision for students, taking into account their individual needs.
  • Supervise sick and injured students, contacting parents when necessary, and arranging hospitalization or return home.
  • Develop and implement individual health care plans for students who require them.
  • Administer medication, following agreed-upon protocols and academy health & safety policies.
  • Provide confidential advice to students on health-related matters.
  • Act as an advocate/counsellor for students seeking medical help and support.
  • Liaise with health agencies, social workers, and other outside agencies, as directed by the multi-agency team.

**What We Offer:**

A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in education or healthcare, particularly in first aid administration.
