**About Nucleus Legal Advice Centre**
We are a leading advice consortium of 12 local charities, with Nucleus delivering specialist welfare benefits advice. Our team is dedicated to providing expert guidance on benefit issues, including PIP, Universal Credit, Capability for Work assessments, Benefit Eligibility, and Housing Benefit.
We are seeking an experienced caseworker to join our team as a Benefits and Welfare Specialist. In this role, you will play a lead part in developing casework and advising clients on complex benefit issues.
As a Benefits and Welfare Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert guidance on benefit entitlements and eligibility
- Assisting clients with PIP, Universal Credit, and other benefit applications
- Conducting capability for work assessments and providing recommendations
- Developing and implementing effective casework strategies
We offer a competitive salary of **£35,000 per annum**, plus a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
