About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic paralegal to join our housing team at South West London Law Centres. As a housing and welfare benefits paralegal, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist solicitors in preparing and conducting housing possession cases
  • Provide advice and support to clients on welfare benefits and housing issues
  • Participate in the housing possession court duty scheme
  • Attend community locations to deliver housing advice on an outreach basis

Requirements

  • Knowledge of housing law and welfare benefits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to vulnerable clients
