Pastoral Support Assistant Role in Hull

Milk Education is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as a Pastoral Support Assistant in Hull.

This dynamic role involves supporting teaching staff and senior leadership with pastoral care, academic progress, and student welfare, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding among students, teachers, and staff members.

Key Working Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
  1. To provide proactive support in managing challenging situations and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and staff members, fostering a supportive school community.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience working with pupils in a classroom setting, demonstrating adaptability and creativity.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
  3. Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours and promote positive attitudes among students.
  4. Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Estimated Salary Range: £29,000 - £38,000 per annum
