Nurslink is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Cumbria.
">Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, residential care settings, or community clinics. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote health, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personalized care to patients with complex needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other nursing procedures as required.
• Offer support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting health education and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, including GPs, social workers, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report on patient progress.
• Identify and mitigate risks, adhering to NHS guidelines and best practices.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their voice is heard in decision-making processes.
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Experience in community healthcare or district nursing preferred but not essential.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control practices.
What We Offer:
• Competitive salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
• Flexible working arrangements, including 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, day shifts, night shifts, and overtime opportunities.
