We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our mental health team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working across various settings to promote recovery, independence, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care to individuals experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient's unique mental health needs.
  • Administer medications and therapeutic interventions, monitoring for side effects and patient response.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, offering guidance and education on mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure all interventions are safe, appropriate, and in line with best practices.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and other mental health support programs aimed at promoting well-being and resilience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting care and progress in accordance with professional standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
  • Promote recovery-focused approaches, encouraging patients to actively engage in their treatment and care plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and manage mental health emergencies in both inpatient and community settings.

This role requires a valid NMC Pin, experience in mental health nursing, and strong interpersonal skills.
