About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our mental health team in Cumbria. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient group, promoting recovery, independence, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health nursing, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of mental health legislation and the Mental Health Act.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues.
  • Assess and develop individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Manage risk effectively, ensuring interventions are safe, appropriate, and in line with best practices.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and other mental health support programs.

Requirements:

  • Valid RMN registration with the NMC.
  • Experience in mental health nursing, ideally in inpatient, outpatient, or community settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and the Mental Health Act.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Flexible Working Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, day shifts, flexitime, night shifts, and overtime opportunities.
