This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to make a significant difference in the lives of patients within the Cumbria community. The role involves:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes and community settings, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for patients with complex needs.
- Administering medications, wound care, injections, and other nursing procedures as needed.
- Offering support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting health education and disease prevention.
- Collaborating with GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid NMC Pin as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in community healthcare or district nursing (preferred but not essential).
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a referral programme and flexible working arrangements.
