Engineering Safety and Reliability Consultant

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineering and Safety Professional to join our Enhanced Nuclear Safety Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new technologies and products to enhance the Surety (Safety, Security and Dependability) of current and future product systems.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical engineering & design, High pressure system design, and Materials properties and selection. You will also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Regular site visits to both UK and overseas delivery partners will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement novel conceptual/prototype technologies into mature products
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance Surety of product systems
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality assurance and compliance

Requirements
- Strong degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Science related discipline
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel frequently within the UK and overseas
Estimated Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
