Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited involves leading the HR function for an international bank headquartered in the Far East, with a UK branch in London City. You will be reporting to the General Manager, who leads the business in the UK. This is a hands-on role, encompassing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, SMCR, payroll, and reward. You will be responsible for managing HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Member of London's operational risk committee, including HR Risk and SMCR.
  • Management of 4 HR Professionals, including development of your own team.
  • Lead on all HR projects and improvements, from group level from Asia and UK incentives.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience of leading an HR team within an international bank environment, operating at Head of HR level.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Experience of leading on annual SMCR processes.
  • Exposure to specialist HR as well as business partnering, including reward, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Educated to degree level, and/or CIPD level 7.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage an HR team.
