Job Title: Clinical Assessor

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Paramedic to join our team as a Clinical Assessor. This role offers a unique opportunity to balance your work and personal life, with 9am-5pm hours and flexible working arrangements.

Your main task will be to assess individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their daily lives. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you'll listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a thorough examination. You'll then produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.

The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video calls. But whether you connect online or in person, you'll be sensitive, compassionate and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals and gather detailed information about their medical histories.
  • Utilize your clinical expertise to produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, demonstrating empathy and compassion throughout the assessment process.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Possess extensive experience working with adults in various clinical settings.
  • Show evidence of continuous professional development through ongoing training and education.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using a range of software applications.
  • Be self-aware, focused on professional growth, and motivated to deliver high-quality customer service.
Benefits and Opportunities
  • A competitive salary: £37,500 - £43,000 per annum + an additional £2,000 after one year, plus ongoing bonus opportunities of up to 10%.
  • An annual leave package including 25 days off + bank holidays, with options to purchase additional days or sell back existing leave.
  • Annual registration fees paid, ensuring compliance with industry requirements.
  • A comprehensive training program designed to support your professional development and success.
  • Full IT equipment provided for remote working, enhancing flexibility and productivity.
  • Employer-matched pension contributions of up to 6%.
  • Access to exclusive discounts and deals, adding value to your overall compensation package.
  • A focus on employee wellbeing, care, and support, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Training and Development Opportunities

You can look forward to four dedicated days of continuing professional development per year, supplemented by one-on-one clinical coaching and access to communities of practice. Additionally, there are opportunities to pursue professional and personal growth through a wide range of training and coaching programs, tailored to expand your capabilities and enhance your skills.
