Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country, providing a wide range of general and specialist clinical services. We are now seeking a talented Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team as a Clinical Educator for the Cardiology ward.

About the Role

The Clinical Educator will provide expert guidance and support to staff, promoting evidence-based practice and delivering high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive learning environment and contribute to the development of our staff.

The post holder will be responsible for leading and developing services in Cardiology, working closely with colleagues to enhance the quality of care for patients. They will also provide high-level expert advanced practice through leadership, consultation, clinical advice, teaching, and mentorship/support for staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop services in Cardiology
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through evidence-based practice
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with extensive experience in Cardiology
  • Previous cardiac experience - minimum 2 years
  • Practice Assessor training
  • Experience in teaching

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
