We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead and develop services in Cardiology at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be a registered nurse with extensive experience in Cardiology, providing high-level expert advanced practice through leadership, consultation, clinical advice, teaching, and mentorship/support for staff.

This exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Clinical Educator for the Cardiology ward within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holder will be responsible for inspiring leadership for nurse-led care in Cardiology and staff development within the OUH NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inspirational leadership for nurse-led care in Cardiology
  • Develop practice, promote, and improve the quality of care for patients
  • Offer high-level expert advanced practice through leadership, consultation, clinical advice, teaching, and mentorship/support for staff
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with extensive experience in Cardiology
  • Previous cardiac experience - minimum 2 years
  • Practice Assessor training
  • Experience in teaching

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
