As a highly skilled and experienced nurse, you will be responsible for leading the team in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Your primary role will be to ensure that high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered within the unit, while also taking responsibility for strategic leadership and management of designated projects.

Main Responsibilities

">
  1. Develop and implement effective operational strategies to optimize the service delivery and patient outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with the multi-professional team to provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.
  3. Take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the unit, including managing the budget and ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  4. Actively participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical governance standards for the unit.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and management skills, who has experience working at Band 6 level and holds a relevant undergraduate degree in Nursing, with specialization in Cardiology/Cardiothoracic Nursing.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, along with evidence of personal development and completion of a leadership and management development programme, would be advantageous.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
