Acute Cardiology Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our Cardiac Angiography Suite team as the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. They will also take responsibility for the strategic leadership of designated projects, work with Matron to manage strategic planning for the unit, and collaborate with the multi-professional team to provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.
Main Responsibilities:
- To promote and demonstrate contemporary and proactive approaches to acute Cardiology nursing practice and collaborate with education links to facilitate the advancement of this practice.
- To lead and develop a team of nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
- To take responsibility for the strategic leadership of designated projects relating to the unit.
- Work with Matron to manage strategic planning for the unit and take operational responsibility for the effective utilisation of relevant resources.
- Collaborate with the multi-professional team and provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.
Salary and Benefits:
