About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our Cardiac Angiography Suite team as the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. They will also take responsibility for the strategic leadership of designated projects, work with Matron to manage strategic planning for the unit, and collaborate with the multi-professional team to provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To promote and demonstrate contemporary and proactive approaches to acute Cardiology nursing practice and collaborate with education links to facilitate the advancement of this practice.
  2. To lead and develop a team of nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
  3. To take responsibility for the strategic leadership of designated projects relating to the unit.
  4. Work with Matron to manage strategic planning for the unit and take operational responsibility for the effective utilisation of relevant resources.
  5. Collaborate with the multi-professional team and provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.

Salary and Benefits:
