Ensuring to act as a positive, professional, role model in promoting clinical excellence and offer expert, professional development advice ensuring practice is patient centered and evidence based Main duties of the job Collaborate with the theatre sisters and matron to plan, deliver, maintain, and evaluate an effective specialist, clinical learning environment through role modelling, leadership, and excellence in practice..Ensure a robust assessment system is in place to provide a continuous means of clinical support and supervision.
.Develop and participate in the induction and orientation programme to theatres for all staff..Ensure that the specialist, theatre training records for all staff are kept up to date..Support practice development and project work within the service, demonstrating a commitment to disseminating information and sharing experiences..Ensure a progressive approach to raising standards and the advancement of professional practice and patient care in line with national and trust strategy..Design, develop and deliver training sessions in clinical practice settings and evaluate learning..Instigate education opportunities for assessors / educators / preceptors in practice to support them in enhancing their mentorship skills.Please read the attached Job description and the person specification attachments for more details Working for our organisation Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country.
